Angel Gate Medicine Wheel

Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel I Created 2002

This sacred geometry energy portal is a combination of an Angel Gate and a traditional medicine wheel.

I have been working with the shamanic realms, earth-based Medicine Wheel traditions, and the Angelic Realm since the l990’s, learning from human and spirit teachers.  Spiritual guidance directed me to merge the Medicine Wheel sacred geometry and ceremony with the Angel Gate sacred geometry energy vortex pattern in 2002. I was told that this new sacred energetic vortex combination helps to integrate the heavenly spiritual realm with Mother Earth’s physical realm, basically helping to facilitate ‘Heaven on Earth’.

These sacred geometry patterns create energetic portals to higher realms of consciousness.  It opens a high vibration energetic portal that connects with the angelic realm and the spirits of nature. This merging and working together of these powerful spiritual energetic systems is needed for healing and raising the spiritual vibration of Mother Earth, or Gaia, at this time. Spirit showed me that this special energy vortex was made up of strong steel like girders going down to the center of the earth, the purpose of which was to help stabilize Mother Earth.

As a gatekeeper and shamanic practitioner, I am able to travel between the earthly and spiritual realms, working with and activating these sacred space energy vortexes. When I activate this sacred Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel vortex pattern, I may see or feel the presence of angels, nature spirits, power animals, spiritual teachers or divine beings of light. My spiritual job is to be a lightworker and gatekeeper to help bring in the higher vibrational energies that these AGMW vortexes produce.

What is an Angel Gate?

An Angel Gate is a special energy vortex sacred geometry configuration that creates an angelic portal connecting you with the angelic realm. This configuration is a star octahedron of (2 – four-sided pyramids inverted into each other) pattern that creates a vortex of grace energy. The energy created can go out a distance of 15 to 20 feet initially, with it expanding larger over time.

The Angel Gate is set up in a pattern with 8 gems/stones at each point. Each point has a specific angel and color associated with that stone’s frequency vibration. Two purposes of an Angel Gate are: One is for healing. It is a sacred space where angelic grace, or the love of God, is focused. Two, it is for receiving Angelic communication and guidance.

What is a Medicine Wheel?

Medicine wheels have spiritual and religious significance and are used in rituals and ceremonies to offer prayers and offerings. The medicine wheel represents all of creation. The circle configuration is sacred symbology of the ‘sacred hoop’ of all life. The center stone symbolizes the Creator. They are a place to gain strength, healing, power, learnings and spiritual introspection. Medicine wheels help one seek spiritual harmony with the powerful spirits there and to gain spiritual insights. Medicine wheels can also be vortexes of intense earth energy and healing.

The term “medicine wheel” was first applied to the Big Horn Medicine Wheel on Medicine Mountain in Wyoming. To indigenous Native Americans, it remains an ancient sacred, ceremonial site.  Medicine wheels were constructed by laying stones in a particular pattern on the ground. Archeologists have noted that most medicine wheels have a basic pattern of at least 2 of the following 3 elements:  a central stone, one or more concentric stone circles, and 2 or more spokes or lines of rocks radiating out from the center.  Beyond that there were many variations and interpretations on this basic design, and every wheel is unique, has its own style, characteristics and ceremonial or ritual purposes.

Medicine wheels represent the sacred Circle of Life, the basic 4 cardinal directions, the 4 elements of fire, earth, air, and water, the 4 seasons and the 4 cycles of life from birth to death.  Each of the 4 directions has a ‘spirit keeper’, animal totem, or power animal, which can be called upon for personal help, blessings, and protection.

Medicine Wheels around the world, both of native indigenous peoples and non-indigenous peoples, have their own variations on the symbology and meanings of the various components of the medicine wheel, such as:  what totem or spirit animals represent the 4 cardinal directions,  what colors  are represented, what season of the year represents the 4 directions, what cycle of life (from birth, death to rebirth) is represented by the 4 directions, what 4 elements of fire, earth, water, and air represents the 4 directions, what direction to enter into the wheel first, what each direction’s lessons represents,  and there are variations about the number of stones to be included in the wheel and what each stone means.
My personal experience with the Medicine Wheel and how to work with it comes from various traditional Native sources, plus also my own divine guidance from Spirit directly. My best advice for you is to choice what symbology, purpose and meanings you intuitively feel guided to use for your own personal medicine wheel. For example, Ojibway MWs use 36 stones. But I am intuitively guided as to how many stones to put in each medicine wheel or Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel. I basically let Spirit be the ultimate guide and learn to trust what Spirit directs me to do regarding the construction. image2

As an example of how trusting Spirit is so important, when I created this medicine wheel in 2004, I asked Great Spirit if I had built it right. As a sign that I had listened to Great Spirit and built a good medicine wheel, one big rock that was on the outside circle, levitated up, turned 90 degrees and came back down to the ground. That was a great sign that I had listened well and had built a spiritually powerful medicine wheel.

In the system I work with, the Direction EAST has Eagle as the Totem Spirit, is the Element Air, is the Spring, and represents New Beginnings and Creativity. The Direction South has Coyote as the Totem Spirit, is the Element Fire, is the Summer, and represents Trust and Playfulness. The Direction West has Bear as the Totem Spirit, is the Element Water, is the Fall, and represents Introspection and Inner Knowing. The Direction North has a White Buffalo as the Totem Spirit, is the Element Earth, is the Winter, and represents Truth and Wisdom.

Medicine wheels and Angel Gate – Medicine Wheels can create a sacred site, where one can communicate with spiritual powers and the supernatural world by means of prayers and offerings. These sacred sites are places of power, where life force is amplified and a person can access.  There are natural geophysical vortex sacred sites and there are human-made energy vortex sacred sites when a medicine wheel, Angel Gate or Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel is created.

Ceremonies help a person to focus on the sacredness of all creation.  Traditionally a person smudges or cleanses themselves before doing a medicine wheel ceremony. Sage sets intent and cleanses, Sweetgrass calls in the sweet spirits, and Tobacco or Cornmeal are thankful offerings. A person can also call upon 6 directions of North, East, South, West, Father Sky or Sun, Mother Earth when they do Medicine Wheel ceremonies. Setting a pure and proper spiritual Intent is very important when working with a medicine wheel or Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel or doing any spiritual ceremony. Working with sacred geometry configurations requires and honoring and respect for Mother Earth – Gaia.

Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel:

The combined sacred geometry pattern consists of an outer circle of stones, which includes the 4 cardinal directions, which is common to the Angel Gate and the Medicine Wheel. The 4 extra inner gems/stones is part of the Angel Gate configuration. There is also an inner circle of stones, which is common to the Medicine Wheel. And I was told to have a special inner stone, gem or crystal in the very center of the inner circle. The center represents our oneness with all creation.

Later in 2002, I met a Metis Medicine woman who was also shown a vision of the same pattern that Spirit told me to do. She said it was used by the Mayans and was called the Morning Star Wheel. This was confirmation for me that this was a very special sacred geometry configuration that Spirit knew was needed at this time on earth.

In 2003, Spirit directed me to travel and set Angel Gate – Medicine Wheels in AK, WA, MT, ID, and UT. They have been very powerful in changing the energetic field of those places and have facilitated in cleansing the areas vibrations and raising the spiritual consciousness there.

Benefits of an ‘Angel Gate – Medicine Wheel:
